ERMUMCU LEGAL traces its roots back to the law firm founded by Dr Iur Roger Dagon & Partners in Geneva Switzerland and by Dr Iur Erich Wettstein in Glarus Switzerland in the late 90s. After her long collaboration with both law firms on various legal cases on international business law, Esq. Pınar T. ERMUMCU continued to serve predominantly Swiss, French, American, English, German and Italian clients in addition to its Turkish clientele. We have developed expertise in the drafting and negotiation of all sorts of commercial contracts in numerous industries and business sectors or for private individuals.
Our arbitration practice deals with corporate or commercial cases. We act as advocates, as arbitrators and counsels in international arbitration cases. We have handled cases involving multinational corporations, international disputes, under the rules of the ICC, the AAA, the Swiss Rules of International Arbitration, the Vienna Arbitration Centre, ICSID, as well as ad hoc cases, including cases under the UNCITRAL Rules. Cases have had their seat in Turkey, Switzerland, France, England, Austria, the United States, Australia and Italy.
ERMUMCU LEGAL have has also significant experience in advising clients in all areas of Turkish and Swiss taxation. We assist corporate clients in general tax planning providing solutions related to M&As, corporate restructuring, JVs, business sales. We advise entrepreneurs in the structuring of their companies on tax efficient remuneration. We seek to offer to our corporate clients or their employees simple and efficient solutions. We also assist private individuals in all the questions relating to their estate tax planning. Our solutions are carefully studied and, whenever needed, are secured by binding tax rulings issued by the relevant tax authorities.
Labor law is very important to us. We are advising both employers and employees and assisting the parties before the labour courts.
Our legal services include consultation and assistance in all areas of real estate law, drafting and negotiation of construction agreements and in all areas of tenancy law, drafting and negotiation of commercial and private lease agreements, transfer of commercial leases, settlement of claims and representation before the courts.
